R.O.D. is HJ5's personal driver, roadie and butler. He first appears in Water Baby when Rudie admits that, instead of buying more fuel for their van, he bought R.O.D.

His primary neural core is a Quad Core Self-Learning 7000Mhz secondary AI Matrix.
He is able to do many tasks at once and extend his limbs long distances. He also has eyes on the back of his head. He also can fire energy beams from his eyes. Sometimes he uses hoverjets in his legs to fly instead of walking.
